Orthopaedic Center opened its doors in February of 1976. KSF Orthopedic
Center was established by Dr. Andrew Kant to provide excellence in the
care of orthopedic injuries, diseases and problems. Dr. Mark Stuart and
Dr. Ray Fitzgerald who quickly joined the practice within the next two
years have helped advance orthopedic technology in the Northwest
Houston area. Drs. Kant, Stuart and Fitzgerald performed some of the
first arthroscopic procedures in the Houston area. Gradually over time,
KSF Orthopedic Center has grown to 12 physicians with multiple
sub-specialties. We are a complete orthopedic center treating all
orthopedic problems and diseases.
KSF Orthopaedic Center has two office locations. Our main office is
centrally located just off of I-45 and FM 1960 in the fast growing
North Houston area at
17270 Red Oak. Our second office is in the Methodist Willowbrook Hospital off of Hwy 249 at
18220 Tomball Pkwy.
In order to meet our commitment for excellence in orthopedic care, we
have complete orthopedic radiologic imaging including an MRI (magnetic
resonance imaging) and also bone densitometry which is used to assess
bone strength. We also have a full staffed physical therapy and hand
therapy rehabilitation center with physical therapists, occupational
therapists and physical therapy assistants helping to make sure that
each patients maximum potential is reached.
KSF Orthopaedic Center treats those parts of your body that move in
order to get you off of your back and up and running again. We see
patients of all ages and sizes. Our orthopedists consult on newborns
with congenital problems in the hospital, as well as see children with
fractures or other orthopedic problems. Teenagers, young adults and
middle-aged athletes are a large portion of our practice. Older
patients with arthritis, osteoporosis or fractures are frequent
patients, as well. A large portion of our patients are repeat patients
or are referred by friends. Many patients are referred by other
physicians or clinics. However, many patients simply call our office
for an appointment.
